The observations here will not be new or insightful for people of color who know this stuff all too well. They are, however, realities which white American and those who rush to make excuses for police excess no matter how severe. Which is why I was happy to see this posted by a conservative writer at a hard-right conservative website read overwhelmingly by white people.
