Recently, when I was cleaning, I almost tossed the Tinker Toys, which the kids hadn’t used for over a year. They got them out today. Carlo made a “Toy-Picker-Upper.”  Anna made a “Bed-Maker.” They each demonstrated how they work.

The most impressive part: each takes far more effort to operate for its intended purpose than simply picking up toys and making beds would be, each of which are tasks that the kids loathe.
