Great Moments in Satire

Today I wrote a post pretending to be Mike Piazza, confused at his failure to be elected to the Hall of Fame. It went up about a half hour after the voting results came in and contained comments and arguments I have been writing under my own byline for several years. I figured, therefore, it could not have possibly been assumed by anyone to actually be a column written by Mike Piazza.

Enough people assumed it was actually written by Mike Piazza, however, to where I later felt obligated to clarify that this was, in fact, a joke.

This is why we cannot have nice things people.
